Head Coach Michael Cracas

Michael Cracas enters his second season as Head Coach of Tiffin University's women's soccer program in 2022-23.

In 2021 the Dragons finished 5-11-1, and 5-8-1 in the GMAC. The Dragons continued to improve, as their five wins were the most for the program since 2017.

Cracas previously served as Head Coach for Hiram College, serving in that position for the last six seasons.

Over Cracas' six years with the women's soccer program, the Terriers earned eight All-Ohio selections and 11 All-NCAC selections, including the first two First-Team All-NCAC selections in program history. Cracas' also coached the only two back-to-back All-Ohio selections in program history.

Cracas' teams have also earned the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Team Academic award each year under his tenure, as well as five USC Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Awards dating back to 2015.

Prior to joining the Terriers, Cracas served as assistant coach, associate head coach, and strength and conditioning coordinator at Oberlin College for six seasons.

Cracas also owns and operates Quick Hands Goalkeeper Training, LLC., which specializes in goalkeeper training for goalies of all ages. Six goalkeepers who have trained with him have received and accepted Division I or Division II scholarships.

A graduate of Defiance College, Cracas served as the starting goalkeeper for the Yellow Jackets and earned All-Conference honors in 1994. He also participated in the Kendis National All-Star Game in 1995.

Cracas earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Defiance College in 1999 and his master's degree in sports-exercise psychology from Argosy University in 2012.

Cracas is also a Certified Strength & Sports Conditioning Specialist, a Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist and a Certified Advanced Personal Trainer by the International Fitness Professionals Association.

A member of the United Soccer Coaches, Cracas and his wife, Kelly, reside in Avon Lake, Ohio with their four children.
